Ukraine Orphan Crisis
Volunteers have made extraordinary efforts to get children out out of harms way in Ukraine following the Russian invasion. Some have been evacuated to the relative safety of western Ukraine, while many others have been evacuated to Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Moldova and other countries.
With bombings happening all around them they had to quickly gather their documents, papers and passports, and left with little except the clothing they were wearing and maybe a favorite toy.
The World Orphan Fund is providing emergency funding for food, medical supplies, housing, caregivers and transportation. We are working directly with NGOs on the ground and our volunteers vet each and every request.

In the week leading up to Easter our directors went directly into Ukraine to visit orphanages absorbing children evacuated or have lost one or their parents in cities like Bucha and Mariupol. Our donors are providing immediate funding for caregivers, food, clothing, and therapy for children suffering PTSD.
Thank You to A Matching Donor
A generous donor has committed to match up to $125,000 in donations for our effort, doubling the value every donation. And as always, 100% of every donation to the the World Orphan Fund goes directly to help orphaned children. To donate directly to these efforts go to UkraineOrphanCrisis.com.
