Warmth for 3,000 Children in Ukraine

As freezing temperatures settle across Sumy, Lviv, Uman, and much of Ukraine, thousands of children are stepping into winter with warmth, dignity, and hope — because of you. ❄️💛💙

Thanks to your generosity, we provided 3,000 high-quality winter coats for orphaned children — including 2,000 war orphans through our partner, Children of Heroes.

And these aren’t just any coats. They are made in Ukraine by 51 talented women in Ternopil — some of whom were displaced by the war — and who are now able to support their families with dignity. Their craftsmanship is providing warmth to children and meaningful income to mothers, rebuilding their lives in a new reality.

Each coat costs just $35 to produce — and a coat of this quality would cost well over $100 in the United States — but to a child who has lost a parent, a home, or a sense of safety, the impact is priceless.

For many families, this wasn’t just a coat. It was comfort. It was dignity. It was the feeling of being seen and remembered. Some of the notes we received from surviving parents and caregivers say it best:
